Best underpinner.

Folks,
I'm just starting to do some picture frames. I'd like to use the V shaped connectors that the professional framers use but I wonder what is the best underpinner to use ? There is one air powered gun on the market - the Meite pinner made in China but I cant find one video of it actually pinning a mitre. It gets mixed reviews on Amazon. I'd be prepared to splash out on a good foot operated pinner if it was good quality. Any advice welcome.

There was a forum called framers forum a few years back which I found very useful. You would get some specialist advice on there, I suspect that most of the professionals are using a small number of brands/models.

Thanks. Wouldn't you know there is now a video on youtube pinning a mitre with the Meite so I stand corrected. More research needed.
