I'm after a supplier for bent lamination stock. Are these called constructional veneers??

I dont need huge amounts. I have some small prototypes I want to make before moving onto larger numbers. I plan on using a form and clamps to start with.

I can add a nice face veneer later but want to try it out first.

Any suggestions of suppliers?

So are constructional veneers just solid wood cut thinly? I can do this myself on my bandsaw (although price dependant I might buy in). I had presumed they were actually some form of thin plywood and you apply a face veneer to them.

Yes, constructional veneers are just thick veneer. I use 1.4mm quite a lot or, as you say, band saw it if I only want narrow widths. 2mm mdf and 1.5mm birch ply are also good for laminating.

PU for me. Had PVA creep over time leaving a guitar stand in pieces. Some PVAs are cross linked so should be OK.

Should also add I have only used PU glues that are used in boat construction. Used to be Balcotan but can't get that anymore so now using Collano. Other PUs maybe fine but never prepared to take the risk on a complex piece. Also gives you a long open time which is great when doing thick laminates with many pieces.
