Hi,Can anyone tell me if liquid bees wax is any good for lubricating and rust prevention on steel tools, planer beds and saw tables? . . . I have been considering buying 'Liberon lubricating wax' for doing it but as it seems to contain mainly bees wax and as I already own A bottle of liquid bees wax I was wondering am I wasting my money! Phil.

I don't see what harm it could do. I don't see how it's likely to do any damage to your cast iron and, provided you wipe or buff away most of the excess, it shouldn't stain or mark your timber, either (as some spray lubricants, including silicone, can do).

If it doubt, give it a try on a small area, first.
