now dont get excited :D my lad wants me to make a bed that drops down from the wall , he has the mattress double size . so dad can make the box that fits on the wall but what sort of gear do you use to stop it falling on your head when you want to lower it . kids 36 years of age and he still thinks his dad can make or fix anything . :wink: :wink:

Hum - I'm pretty sure I've seen the kits (frame, springs and so on) for this type of bed at isaac lords web-site.

Yup - found it - go to isaac lord (http://www.isaaclord.co.uk), then go >cabinet fittings >stays & wardrobe accessories, and Bob's your uncle...which, strangely enough in my case, he is :D

chris i cant show him that bed, the wife will want one as well , :cry: i will never get out of the w/shop for years , they will be beds o.m.a.l :? 8) .i will let him decide , the flesh is willing but the wallets very thin .
