I'm about to get new bearings for my pillar drill , had a few recommendations. While googling I found this company who seem a lot cheaper than anyone.

Has anyone used them wondered if their bearings are any good.

The reason that this company are cheaper is probably that they do not sell the best quality bearings eg SKF.

Looking at their web site they show some blue and white boxes in their pictures which appear to be manufactured by Challenge..who ever they are.

With bearings always buy quality never buy on price.

I know , the last thing I want to do is put crap bearings in. Trouble is a lot of companies don't list the manufacturer so for all I know I could be paying more money for the exact same bearing.

They do sell skf , ***, nachi etc

Well Chippy,

The best way to proceed is to specify the bearing type and to ask for SKF/Nachi etc specifically. If you get sent anything else then return and ask for the order to be filled as you specc'd.

regards
Al
