I have a number of drills quite old and the original niCads have died, what is the chances of getting a modern battery pack to fit. The trouble is they are only used once or twice a year as I have plenty of corded drills.

there are plenty of YT videos on how to convert nicad to lithium yourself, but buying already made replacement- no chance..
Selling your old drills on ebay and buying something new with that money is the best way probably..
