Basement Workshop Update - WIP

I started to organize the placement of the cabinets we picked up a few months back.

Do any of you have a work area with a lower bench height for assembly/finishing?

I decided to build up the height of the recycled cabinets and then make a dedicated low height assmebly table. I’m shamelessly stealing another woodworker's design for his rolling assmebly table!

Your shop is really starting to come along. You might even be able to make something in it soon! And the space. Not jealous . My shop is only 12x14 feet and it has to be shared with bicycles etc...

btw I hope it is starting to heat up in your neck of the woods - I was in Denver just before Christmas and it was soooo cold. And that is coming from a Scotsman!

Thanks H! It actually warmed up pretty nicely here. This is our first winter in Colorado and it's a far cry from the Minnesota winters! We've been enjoying the 70+ degree days for a while now.

I need to get another update posted. I'll be working on a simple 2X4 frame bench for the back wall this weekend. Hopefully I can knock it out and get another posting with pics up soon.

Installed some pegboard, beefed up the bench and added a new rolling tool cart...a pretty productive weekend. A Caps win over the Rangers would have made it a little nicer though!
