Bargain

I went to a local timber merchant this morning,I asked to buy a piece of hardwood and also asked if it would be possible to have three pieces of my wood planed a little.I was very fortunate for them to agree to my request.The pieces of wood included a small piece of oak,which I will be able to use on a project I intend to do.The total cost for the work of planing and for a 3 foot piece of hardwood 8 ins wide 3/4 in thick,which was planed also to the thickness I requested was £5 which I know was a bargain. :lol:

I buy all the timber I use from a local joinery works, They allow me to go through all their off cuts that might have a knot or a blemish on them. Great value to be had.
