bandsaw tyres

Hi I have a rexon bs3050al bandsaw and it needs new tyres, rexon are useless so are b&q where I bought it from many years ago. having measured the wheel diameter it is 325mm, around 12.5", all the replacement tyres I have found for similar machines state for 12" or 14" wheels. can any one please help

Do you really need them? I thought I'd get some after I'd been using my machine for a few years but was talked out of it. You can't buy "tyres" they are bonded onto the steel wheels so you'd have to buy the wheels too. No prob - haven't touched them - still has original tyres 40 years on!

you can buy tyres, and the wheels are aluminium

You could try http://www.solenttools.co.uk . They specialise in aftermarket spares for all sorts of 'unserviceable' machine tools. I couldn't find yours in their index, but they have an encyclopaedic knowledge of what will fit and have got me out of several scrapes over the years.
