Hi Folks,
Am a newbie to the site but would appreciate some advice. I have recently taken up woodcarving and am looking for a bandsaw to cut blanks on. I don't want to pay the earth for one but would like to be able to cut up to about 5inches - mostly softwood I reckon. Any ideas which would be a good buy please.
thanks all

oops, forgot to put that I'm looking at a Fox F28-186 Bandsaw - have read other reviews on other forums - anyone got one and if so, how do you find it?

Hiya mate and welcome to the forum. I've no idea of the Fox, but I know that Startrite, Kity and Elctra Beckum are all decent makes :)
