I recently purcased a 24" E.V. Beronius band saw. Manufactured in Eskilstuna in Sweden likely before the company merged with Munktell in 1917.
It has cast iron wheels of cause. A very solid and well built saw with ball bearings.
The lower tyre is totally worn out and the upper tyre has been replaced with a bicykle tube which is now crumbling from old age. I know the Americans on the Vintage Machinery forum shift band saw tires all the time and I also know how they do it and where they buy their tyres.
I just wonder if there is someone selling bandsaw tires in northern Europe?
