For the last five years since my heart attack I haven't touched my woodturning lathe, in fact haven't even been in the shed. For some while my turning has been restricted to metal. Today I had to make a jig to hold the awkward shaped thing I am working on in order to use the metal cutting band saw. The only way was to use the wood turning lathe to make it. Now that is another mental obstacle overcome :) Maybe I will soon be back there from time to time. Somehow I feel like I have taken a big first step.

Hope you continue to slide back into a turning frame of mind, seems the best place to be if you need to keep the brain stimulated in the current climate is the shed.

Thanks..... kept meaning to turn something small, but now the ice is broken think I will get back to it.
