I started another oak job yesterday, just a small one another brochure holder but bigger. Got it all assembled yesterday and got the finish on it today. I still have some small removable dividers to make but it is almost finished. Sorry no WIP shots but I was rushing.

Alan,
That looks very nice as usual with your work.

Would you mind sharing the construction techniques and dimensions please?

Thanks guys. yes Charlie, it is all solid AWO. I have again used the Domino for this but due to the movement of the wood I only glued the lower ones and slotted the upper ones longer to allow it to move. I had to use the smallest dominos for this as you can imagine. At the base of each of the slots there is a piece of 25mm sq for the bases and these are glued and screwed to each section. I have given the whole item 2 coats of 2K lacquer. I made a template of the side and the positions of the sections so I could mirror them for each side to ensure they all lined up when assembled. This unit measures 800mm x 800mm and is a little over 200mm deep at the base. I will cut two keyhole slots in the rear as this is to be hung on a wall. The customer requested it was to take four A5 brochures on each level and I shall make removable dividers with felt backing to fit in the spaces. HTH.

It is now all finished with the dividers in place.

I have also got rid of the high gloss cabinet too so it's all go for the next project. :D
