The green and wetter end of the M4.
after a frustrating month or so of just staring at the lathe with no inspiration I decided to make a something today and this fell out of a branch of yew. nothing wonderful but all the tools worked as they should and I managed to get the stem down to a nice flexible 5 mm or so without breaking it :)
hopefully the first step back onto the turning wagon

cos my mind is the biggest blank in the shed! I seem to have had a mental block on all things shed related :( but forced myself out there yesterday to have a go at the monthly challenge (again!) and managed to come up with something most basic) so today tried to continue making shavings and the result was some good long shavings and a goblet. :)
