Hi all,

I recently purchased a new Axminster radial drill and apart from an initial test when I first put it together I used it for the first time today. I drilled a couple of holes before the electric tripped at the main fuse box. Thereafter the drill would only run for a second or two before tripping the electric. I tried it plugged into a different socket and also without and without an extension lead -however, the same result.

Any ideas? Or is this just a faulty unit?

Thanks, Paul

I have one of these and use it on a regular domestic circuit without any problem, so my guess is that yours has a fault. But then I am no expert when it comes to electrickery...
