Axminster lathe model KWL1000

Having just purchased an old Axminster lathe model KWL1000, and being a complete novice on turning, I am looking for any assistance to get started . The lathe works ok but Axminster have no information on this model which seems to be over 20 years old. They told me that the factory which produced it no longer support it and I can't find anything on the Internet. If anyone has any experience or advice on this model it would be much appreciated. Thanks

Axminster KWL (and probably other badged 37" single round bar Taiwanese lathes) are fairly generic - Google is your friend
