Thats quite a jump

Been saving up for this for a while now, and will have to hold off even longer. More to the point, not sure it's even worth the new price tag

The band saw I was looking at has also gone up, although not as much

Does seem an awful lot of money for a hobby rated machine particularly when you consider what you can pick up second hand for that sort of money, certainly a far more substantial machine

Yep also the Trade AS12BSB2 seems to have jumped up as I was thinking of buying one of those. Not sure why such a huge increase.....

I bought my AT1416VS last year when it was on special offer at £650. I noticed the other day it's now gone up to £838.96. Time for Theresa to reduce VAT to help folks out I reckon.

Maybe the price has increased ready for a so called "sale" which would put the price down to the original price? Christmas is coming so this may be the time to do it.

The AW10BSB2 full kit has also gone up, it used to be £1200~ now the £1503, is exactly the price of the base saw + extension table + sliding table, guess you don't get the discount anymore for buying it all as a kit.

It looks like most machines on axminster have taken a jump.

Most of them made in china and will be sold in $ so we have brexit to thank.. This is just the thin end of the wedge

Can't see them dropping vat since it barely effects the rich and we have a tory government
