Nice looking bowl mate and a good video showing the process, do you seal the wood prior to applying the stains? I think I would of made a small groove with a point tool by the rim of the bowl and by the edge of the rim just to lift it a bit, but that's just my taste (or lack of it lol)

Thanks Greg and Andy. I'll have a think about adding grooves!
It was sold today at my open house in the Brighton Festival - very pleased that someone liked it enough to part with cash for it!
