August Stenman Screws

I have recently cleared out my late father's garage / workshop inckuding what he described as his screw cupboard. Amongst some quite old Nettlefolds and GKN screws I came across a make I had not heard of before - August Stenman made in Sweden.

I am just a bit curious as to the age of the screws as there was a price of "2/- Trade" written on the box. Does anyone know the history of the company as a screw manufacturer?

They stopped making screws in the Mid 70s. According to Google.

Seems they are lock makers called ASSA.
