If you can make it through the 8 pages, there's a few "oh my" items in there. Sad to think of the reasons for the sale though.

Usually 'estate' clearances. When I lived near there I used to attend regularly both as a buyer and a seller. It's a good place to get some bargains if you're lucky. You can get an awful lot of tat though. Not to mention wormy wood :evil:

I remember the first time I went I saw loads of short lengths of hardwood offcuts fetching silly prices from woodturners. I thought 'Blimey...I've got a load of those destined for the fire...I'll hang and sell them next time. Made £70 !).

Nothing like that up here, sadly.

It looks like Pugh's have come up in the world though since we left and now have a purpose built auction room on their Hazel Meadow.
