Hi,

I'm building a trade show display stand, and the back of the shelving unit is likely to be tongue and groove (but could end up being a sheet of ply).

I'm trying to come up with a way to attach the boards to the back of the display in a way that will add strength, but will be easy to remove to disassemble the shelves. I'd ideally not like to use fixings like standard woodscrews, as the holes will eventually wear - these will be put up and taken down in a hurry. There won't be particularly heavy use, but we're looking to invest to make sure they last.

Any advice very much appreciated.

Fix the t&g in a rebated frame and fix that to the shelves ... or just route some grooves in a sheet of ply.

I have just had a look at their website as I hadn't heard of button fixings before. Quite impressive and I can see a couple of upcoming projects where they would be very handy. Thanks for the link Steve.
