It's a shame that the navies just can't find and disapear these pirates? When the numbers start to drop and the thugs don't return to what they call home then perhaps they will start to wonder if it is worth while. The navies have the kit to take them out from a long way off and before they even knew they are there.

Caught pirates shoule be sent home, told which way it is and thrown overboard to swim there! That has been the law for centuries, why change now?

Did it take them this long to realise that water cannons are no match against assault rifles and RPG's, or were they just waiting for the official report to state the bleeding obvious?

Of course, shooting pirates with a 30mm cannon is against their human rights, no matter what Mr. Cameron says, so they'll continue to pick them up, give them nicotine patches and return them home. Multi-million pound taxi service?

Of course, shooting pirates with a 30mm cannon is against their human rights,
It's against the Geneva Convention as well.
Mind you, you can nuke them, use flame throwers, Napalm, small arms, grenades and mortars!

Roy.
