Arundel J4 MK2 wood lathe

Hi, thank you for allowing me to join this group and I'm looking forward to learning and sharing on this forum. I have just bought an arundel J4 lathe but it has no motor and the headstock pulley is a 5 step poly v pulley, I think? I do have a motor with a 19 mm shaft but can't seem to source a similar pulley and belt to fit. Is there a source to buy such a pulley and belt or could I change the head stock pulley for a v type stepped pulley and have a corresponding one fitted to the motor? I hope I have explained myself clearly, thanks for any info. Malcolm

Try looking for "J section pulleys". You may have better luck. Many will need a Taperlock bush to match the shaft to the pulley.
