Hi all,
ANyone been to Art in Action, near Oxford? Fantastic day out, thoroughly inspiring (not just woody stuff, like Robert Ingham, but jewellery, ceramics, sculpture, painting, etching, performance art, clockmaking, smithying - you name it). I just need to get in the workshop and create something.
Still don't know how these people earn a realistic living out of it. One guy I spoke to, unfortunately can't remember his name, tried to sell me a woody course. He is setting up a School, and when pressed, admitted it was becasue it was more profitable than actually making.
<Sigh>.
Great day out, though.
Excellent crêpes for lunch too!
A tired but happy
