My father taught me woodworking and metal working all within the realm of model making. This included model planes, boats, cars and engines.

His passion was model houses and furniture. I inherited this model antique shop that he made along with everything inside it. Including the paintings and two working clocks (although the movements are from quartz watches). I think it is the most exquisite model and I aspire to reach this level of craftmanship.

The video shows me carefully reassembling it after a careful clean. Let me know if you want me to share more details of specific items within the shop.

These 1/12th scale fire screens are quite simple but rather delightful. Again, made by Roy Taylor.

They are just 54mm high and 40mm wide. Made with a hardwood frame and then a thin 0.7mm plywood backing and an embossed pewter sheet. The embossing was all done by Roy Taylor.
