Just a fyi photo
So if you have one of these and over the years there has been some missing pixels and whitish areas on the display and you think its 5 or so years old had heavy use so hey ho its Apple it will (?) last a bit longer.
Then yesterday switched on and then caboomph the screen is dead totally unresponsive press the log in password screen and the buttons are dead so!
Long story shortened
There are several button sequence fixes known to Apple users and none worked, spoke to an Apple expert on line and we went through those and a couple more conclusion was that the LCD touch screen behind the glass was not going to work again.
Bought a new one and took the old one to bits - couldn't sell it as not working as there will be data stored within the machine.
Easy to dismantle and all that is inside well generally all, is a motherboard, battery and various mini cameras and whathaveyou.
So the heart of the machine is as photos not very much at all.
Just though someone might have one and be interested to see inside - can do more photos of odd bits if requested
