Anyone used a Metabo SXE450 to polish car

I know this is not a woodworking question but I know a lot of you guys have the Metabo SXE450 Random Orbital Sanders and I was wondering if any of you had the same thought as me. As there are polishing bits available would the SXE450 be any good for polishing the car?

Anyone doing this? or using it to polish anything not just sanding? Any other comments, do/don't?

Looked on the Metabo website for using this machine as a polisher but can't find anything relevant.

I could get a specific polisher but it would seem silly if the SXE450 will do the job.

Im after one to do my car and they all rave about the Porter cable unit which apparently is the DB's but not avail over here.
Your one will do i'm sure as the speed is variable and thats the key to avoiding swirl marks during treatment.
Also read the threads on Meguires particularly the clay treatment. Im gonna have a go at that.
