Anyone into vintage toys?

For the life of me I cannot find ought out about this unusual kids scooter I picked up the other day :evil:
Apart from the handle/tyres it's made of ally, any ideas folks :?:

Have you searched other English speaking countries?
For some reason an Al casting says Canada or poss US to me - maybe because Canada has Hydro electricity which allows the cost effective casting of Al, I suspect we wouldn't do it in UK.
