Anyone heard of Wallace table saw?

Hi all,
A non-computer literate friend of mine has a Wallace of Leicester table saw. It is powered by a 7.5 hp petrol engine, and is best described as vintage. Does anyone know anything about these?

I know it doesn't help much, but I do remember seeing one some time ago. Is the logo written in arched writing? Anyway, being in Leicester may have some connection with wadkin?

PS - edited to say remember it being a LUMP!!

Yes it certainly is a lump, with a cast iron frame and the name embossed on the side, curved as you said. My friend has one and was hoping to find out something about the make, and the company perhaps.
