Anyone got a Sheppach HMS260? I need some advice

I ordered a Sheppach HMS260 the other day & it arrived yesterday, ive spent most of the day with my father setting it all up & from what I can see its a great piece of kit & I will do a full review soon.

However the manual is hopeless & I have got 4 bolts with shakeproof washers & nuts left over & also a funny shaped piece of metal.

Does anyone here have this machine? if so can you tell me what these parts are for as it doesnt say in the manual at all.

I found what that piece of metal was for, apparently its a blade adjustment gauge.

However that doesnt solve why there are 4 bolts left, ive followed through everything in the manual & the machine is up & running.. maybe they are spares.

I must have had sawdust in my eyes with that gauge though as there is a complete page on what its for
