There's a Sedgwick table saw up for sale not too far away, but the trouble as with any of these machines is transporting it. I have a van but would still need to break it down to make it moveable for 2 people. Anyone have an idea ?

If it is set up accurately I would be loathe to strip it down for transporting. It is fairly easy to strip down and if you are doing it get the exploded diagram and label the nuts/bolts in relation to the diagram. The top is the heaviest as its chunky cast iron and it may be enough just to take this off along with the sliding table. I moved one complete a few years ago but there was four of us and we just lifted it straight into the van no problem

I've got the same saw and I wouldn't dismantle it to move it. I got it off a trailer and into position on my own with a pallet truck so maybe just hire one and go for it? They are solid so won't object to some manhandling just be careful with the accurate bits like the sliding table bar and handles. Your van must be small though because mine fits in a transporter size easily. I would also say that laying it down won't hurt if you're careful.

Good luck!
