Drill Countersink with rotating Depth stop.
Ive been looking at the Trend snappy range.....but they arent cheap at £20 each and then the same again for every size drill diameter if you need them.
Anybody got an alternative for multiple countersinking so they are all the same depth?

I used to have a very nice set of spade drills that covered No. 8 and No. 10 screws from 1" to 2.5" in 1/4 steps. They gave the pilot, clearance and countersink all in one hit - till some sod half inched them. Been thinking of making a set for about 20 years. They had a polished washer to give the depth, it didn't rotate so probably not as nice as the £20 ones but with minimal care they didn't mark surfaces.

You could make your own, but the question would always be did you save much in time compared to just buying the one(s) you need. Most of my screws used are 4x something, so I'd only bother buying one for that size most likely.
