anybody made a smart phone stand /mini tripod out of wood?

it's something I've wanted to do for a while now,

I've got enough scraps to make a few of them,

it's for my phone and would only have to be simple mostly for recording video and holding it in place.

I have a few different design ideas.

There are tons on Amazon for under a tenner, some with wireless chargers built in. I don't bother making this kind of stuff for that reason.
