Anyone still using the triton workcentre out there or remember how to!?

I've got some 50mm by 25mm 1m oak which I want to cut in half at a diagonal 45 degrees.

From what I've seen of the standard triton fence, it's possible but I'm not convinced it's safe or practical?

Any other suggestions welcome!?

Cheers,
Carl

Tricky eh! Lay timber on 45 degree side of fence and cut. If you look on You Tube there are vids (old and grainy) that show all the Triton offers.

The thing I'm not sure about is doing this when the wood is only 25mmx50mm. I guess I'll just put the workcentre up and give it a go!

Cheers yeah I've got them. To be honest I only asked as I'm going to have to dig everything out and put it together and I've never tried the 45 degree angle cut before (especially with a little strip of wood).

When he bevel cuts in that video it looks very free hand! ..and that's with a large easy to hold piece.

Thanks.
