Thinking of having go at making one: Questions:

1 Round or Square bearing assembly (ref Axy)
2 Minimum dia of bearing for a given dia of turntable to avoid tipping
3 If most of the surface in view will be covered by dishes, is it necessary to (wastefully) carve a whole table out of a solid blank or can you use a separate rim construction on a more ordinary base wood

and finally, are these things any practical use on the family table unless they are large (min 18 ins).
I don't see many on the craft stalls.

I have a lazy Lisa...........doesn't wash up, doesn't vacumme Hehe. Owh just been slapped.

I am sorry I haven't any useful comments, but hope you get some, as it is on my have a go list and have been wondering the same sorts of things.

Good luck

and here lazy-susan-wip-t54616.html?
no metalwork required, but you need to be good with balls

And here the real lazy way of making a lazy susan is to get the works from a supplier .
Anything to keep the conversation away from making Balls .
