Another newbie

Hiya everyone another newbie thats been viewing the site for a while now finding excellent advice and topics, Ive just got back into woodturning after a 20 year break and just finished setting up a workshop (lots spent) had loads of info off here and just thought its time to get involved,Im also looking for any info on woodturning clubs in my area Tyne@Wear if anyone has any info cheers,Dink.

Hi Dink you're in a very similar position to myself although my break was more like 35 years. Welcome to the forum and as you have already seen there are a lot of really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful members here.

Hello Chris thanks for the reply its a good site and Ive had loads of info allready on tooling etc looking forward to getting more plenty time on my hands now and a few new machines to wear away,if the rust in sunny north east doesnt get them first.cheers.
