Well, on the basis that bread is basically flour, yeast and water, I suppose it is.
 
I've used this method before and tried it again over the weekend (just because).
a passable if slightly cakey bread, don't expect a full blown toasty loaf but if you want a "artisnel" style load that looks the part and tastes good, especially as fried bread for a posh looking sausage butty, then go for it, it couldn't be easier. be aware that the dough you make will be wet (very wet) if you are used to making bread. the recipe I used has no sugar in it, which appealed to me. I let both my BIL and wifes best friend try some and they were blown away, neither are foodie types and both would pay some hipster baker an extortionate amount for the privilege.
