Sorry guys, new to the forum and unsure if i have posted in the correct category. i've been offered a kity CK 26 combination machine-saw, planer, spindle moulder and slot mortiser. I am trading some furniture and he has asked £2000 for the machine. It is in good condition and he stated it cost him £4000 several years ago. Is this a fair price?

Welcome Jim. You probably don't want a combi machine anyway. Not the ideal solution for all but a few circumstances.

Hi,

That pic is of a Bestcombi 2000 thay also do a Bestcombi 2600 with a wider planer so it could be that one.

Nothing wrong with a combi I have a 2000.

If you are considering spending £2000 you could easily go for a cast iron unit, SCM minimax, startrite, even a Felder and with a 310mm wide planer thicknesser, much better value
