Can anyone please inform me of a supplier for a sheet of aluminium plate 1mtr x 340mm x 3mm thick high grade quality?

I suggest you look up sheet metal fabrication, metalworking business in Yellow Pages or your Thompson local. If a company can't help you, I'm sure they can point you in the direction of someone who can.

You could try Austen Knapman in Paignton - they are steel stockholders but can advise on where would be the nearest place to go. BACO in Valley Road Plympton stock everything you can think of in the way of aluminium.

Many thanks David for lead. Austen P put me on to a small stockholder in N/Abbot who can cut a piece for me £12.
