alternative parts/dimensions for startrite pt260

I've recently bought a Startrite PT260 at auction, but have found that it's missing the blade wedge (not sure if this is the correct name, the part that goes into the cutting block along with the knives and holds them in place, Startrite part 6889). I've contacted www.altsawsandspares.com but I'm not convinced that parts for this machine are still available.

Does anyone know if a similar or newer machine would have an interchangeable blade wedge please? From the design it seems it would be quite forgiving, but I imagine that getting this wrong and the knives coming out at speed would be less than ideal.

Alternatively, if anyone would be able to supply dimensions and/or pictures of the blade wedges so I could get some made I'd really appreciate it!
