Hi
thurs 21st March - 135Watt combi tool (dremel type) for £12.99 and accessory kit for £4.99, I've read a few good reviews about these. I'm thinking to get one, because it's not going to get a hammering with me. Again, one of those handy tools that I don't want to spend £80-90 on just for occasional use.

Both myself and my daughter have these. Get the accessory kit as well. If it lasts 3 years, no problem, if not, it goes back for a refund. I save my Dremels for the future, one must be 30 plus years old.

Thanks for that Mike, I'm always very wary about cheap tools so it's good to get an opinion from someone with actual experience of them. And with a 3 year guarantee, well, can't go wrong.

Well worth the money, I have an old dremel from when they first surfaced here and it isnt as good as my aldi one (smaller motor) - I'm sure the modern dremels are better but I wouldnt bother getting one when these tools are quite up to scratch - cheap bits too!

FWIW

I silver solder my own bandsaw blades and find one of these tools from Aldi invaluable for grinding back the excess solder following jointing the blade. Wouldnt be without it for that one purpose

Hi,
I brought one of these a few years ago from Aldi under the Power Craft brand. Had no problems at all with it. As advised I would also buy the additional kit that is available. Found the kit very useful including filing down the dogs claws
