So any suggestions on an actual air nailer Alexfn? Better still maybe an explanation to why a belt driven one is better over what I have linked to. I'm really finding it hard to understand how your above empty comment is helpful apart from down playing a tool someone has just bought.

Oh is that it. Well I have 2 options ear defenders :lol: or location of the compressor in an outside store running a line through.
 
Thanks... Will look in to getting one of those at some point but for now I think I need one which will fire up to 40/50mm... I'm looking to attach cupboard fascias of 18/20mm thickness.
 
I have the 18g Bostitch too (and another brand), rarely use it as it requires so much time filling afterwards. The pin nailers are just paint over the hole and it vanishes, but not much good for your application.
 
Thanks guys, I went for the bostich 18g. Paid £94.00 for it from amazon. Leaves a neat entry hole. Great stuff.
