African Blackwood drawer handles

Hi, I'm about to make some drawer handles out of some African Blackwood. I was wondering how to finish them? Obviously the handles will get a lot of use so I'll probably need something tough, and I've never used this wood before, so wondered if there's anything I need to know about finishing it.

ABW is very hard and dense. You could probably just buff it and leave it at that.
