Advice regarding maintenance of Meddings MF2 mk II

Hi, I've just purchased a superb 1962 Meddings MF2 floor standing drill. Chuck/quill has absolutely no play at all. On some slow speeds it was a little noisy but after putting some grease where the spindle runs inside the driving sleeve (in the centre of the top pulley) the machine now purrs along. I notice a grease nipple at the bottom of the quill but haven't greased there yet. I sent off for the parts diagram in the hope that there might be some guidance on maintenance procedures, but there isn't any.
Has anyone got a similar drill who can offer advice?
