I’ve been asked to make a number of wooden trays by a hotel to serve perratifs. They want them similar to apple storage boxes with a distressed painted look. The woodwork side of this is not an issue to me, but as they want the hotels name/logo on the two faces of the trays, I’m struggling to find a way in achieving this.
At first I thought of a template, but the disadvantage with this is that the end result will show a template was used.

Obviously I don’t want to paint them free hand as it would take far to long.

They are to be quite small trays with a base equivalent to A4.

Any advice would be appreciated.

As it sounds like these logos will be on the working surface of the trays your method needs to include good wear resistance. Final varnishing with a floor varnish should do the trick. Screwfix no nonsense water based floor varnish is impressively hard and quick drying.
