Hi all,

I was hoping one of you out there would be able to suggest some suitable reading material, i am an apprentice joiner at the mo but dont start college till Sept.

Many Thanks

Any books that are relevant to the course, NVQ level 2 in wood occupations.

I've tried searching for a recommended reading list Ali.... not so much as a sniff, much less a bite... Have you tried contacting your college?? Maybe they'd have a list...

Hi Ali,

If you are studying for your NVQ level 2 I would suggest the following two books by Brian Porter and Reg Rose.

1. Carpentry and Joinery - Bench & Site Skills

2. Carpentry and Joinery - Work Activities.

Both these books are available from Amazon.

Good luck with your course

Karl

Mike,

I had the same problem too thanks anyway.

Kev,

I'll look into those 2 books that you suggested and try to get in touch with the college to see if they recommend any.

Many thanks

Ali

Thanks Chris,

Checked out that site and it looks like there is some pretty useful stuff on there.

Cheers

Ali
