Advice on back panel and rigidity

shiplap boards are usually my favourite on the back of cabinets, although tongue and groove is fine as well, a bead on the edge is a nice touch to break up the lines as well, obviously that's optional.

Yes a cocked bead like this on the edge of tongue and groove boards is good, takes a little bit of working out to get the right number of boards to fit into the space that you have in the back of your cabinet.Ian

Yes, I like a detail on the edge of the board. Even a simple v chamfer looks neat and minimal
