Hi

I am currently on the hunt for a new table saw
I have come across this item on eBay but it has an issue which I wanted to know if it could be fixed properly.

I am a little desperate and my budget isn't very big hence considering it and then repairing it

eBay item. 261878744630

If anyone might be able to shed a rough idea on how much it is likely to repair that would be great
Kind regards

Marc

It looks knackered to me. If you really want it, ask them why the blade will no longer tilt then contact the manufacturers to see if you can get a cost on the parts.
I wouldn't touch to be honest. Too many other critical bits that could be worn and ready to go.

I expect it doesn't tilt because the 'welder friend' welded up the tilt mechanism

Most of the cuts I make are 90deg. If all else is in order, it could be of use.
Depends what you'll be using it for...

Yeah same here mostly 90deg cuts also. I'm tempted but wouldn't mind the option in the future

Bear in mind that no tilt mechanism doesn't just mean no bevel cuts, it also means that if the blade isn't perfectly vertical you won't be able to correct it
