I wonder if there are any experts out there who can advise me on a problem I have.

I need to accurately cut a panel 200mm by 75mm by 15mm deep out of a 20mm deep piece of wood or possibly MDF. As I plan to do it multiple times, a solution involving power tools would be preferable. Cutting all the way through the 20mm panel and re-attaching the remaining 5mm deep remnant is not an option. I am not familiar with the full range of power tools available today, so some of you may know the perfect answer.

Any constructive comments appreciated.

Thanks.

If it's MDF then start with a 15mm MDF panel.

If it's solid timber plane it down with a thicknesser to 15mm thick.

If you don't have the equipment sub the job out.

Are you talking about a raised panel, such as you would find on a pine panel door?
I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but the ideal tool would be a spindle moulder, not a cheap tool. Might be possible with a router, but I think it would need to be a big one. Need to do this myself and may have to find a local joinery shop to do it, as Custard suggests.
Following the thread for other suggestions.

I'm not if I quite understand what you are wanting to do, but if it is a fielded panel or rebate we may be able to do it for you.

also unclear as to what you wish to achieve but if its this...

then a router, with a suitable bit, and collar and a home made template will do it (have a look on youtube for 'router inlay' or similar.)

Also MDF usually comes in 3mm / 4mm / 6mm / 9mm / 12mm / 15mm / 16mm / 18mm / 19mm / 22mm / 25mm / 30mm / 32mm / 36mm / 38mm / 40mm / 45mm but no 20mm, so you may need to be flexible on your size if using MDF.
Wood will need to be thicknessed to 20mm.

It would be simpler to use say a 15mm and a 5mm (with the hole cut out) MDF glued together to achieve the first one. (then cut and sand the outer edges of your newly built panel, you probably won't see the join if its glued properly.
