Hi,

I'm thinking of switching to an airless system for my spraying. I'm growing tired of having to thin down my paint to almost water to get the compressor to pump it out.

I mainly use paints such as Tikurilla Helmi, medium base type paint. It would be preferable to not have to thin it down too much.

Is there anyone on here that can advise on an airless sprayer for Tikurilla? Or even better someone that uses something like this everyday and has experience in spraying.

Thanks,

I use a graco merkur air assisted airless. I got it used of eBay for £300 and fixed it up. its different in that it runs off compresed air ie it has an air motor. I only use a smallish compressor btw. it sprays water based even primer filler without any thinning. it uses a quarter litre or so in the pipes. but for big spray jobs it's great.
